European ways

In June 2006, the Council of Europe adopted the Clunisien’s placesin the great European routes. This ceremony took place in the "FARINER" Of Cluny’s Abbey.

Cultural tours would be organized until 2007, permitting to visit places of the place of the Clunisien’s federation.

The Berry is represented by Deols (Indre), and Masay (Cher). The tour, including Deols and Massay, goes through “La Charité sur Loire” which was devoted in 1107 by Pope Pascal II, few days before Deols, Nevers, Paray le Monial and ended in Paris with the Abbots of Cluny's hotel, today Museum of Middle- Ages.

These tours would intend to be changed because new entries to the federation of Clunisien’ s place won't delay to appear, especially in the west of Charente Maritime like St Europe in Saintes.

All the places enjoy a neat reception, often with the competence of a Tourist Information Centre.
