In France, the St Jacques de Compostelle's road can be travelled all over through four ways which tradicionnally go from Paris, Vezelay, Le Puy en Velay and Arles and go through the Pyrenees either on Somport or on Roncevaux to rejoice Spain.

Pilgrims who go through Deols arrive from Vezelay, if they want to stop they can spend the night in the "St Jacques's Halte".This refuge is only for pilgrims who had a credencial. This card could be stamped in the Tourist Information Centre or in the presbytary and at the same time pilgrims could have the halte's keys.
